How do you stir natural butters?
I am just venturing into natural almond butter, and I cant get the oil mixed in! I stirred, and stirred, heated it up in the micro and stirred, etc..
What am I doing wrong? It is still pretty separated. Also, will it always separate out? is there anything I can do to prevent it? Thanks!

Re: How do you stir natural butters?
Oh just keep stirring! LOL! It does seem to take forever the first time you do it. I'd say it takes a good 5 minutes of constant stirring... at first it does seem like it's not really doing anything but it will! I've never put mine in the microwave though... I hope it didn't do anything negative to it. Make sure you get right to the bottom when you're stirring or by the end of the jar it'll be completely unspreadable (no oil mixed in).
It won't be COMPLETELY stirred in when you're done... but like, 95% mixed I'd say. Refridgerating it helps prevent it from separating again. Good luck! I LOVE Almond butter. Even better is cashew butter though... drool... I can eat that by the spoonful
