does soup freeze well?

I have frozen baked potato soup with great results but what about soup with beans, noodles, or rice?

I've frozen many diff kinds. Sometimes milk-based soups will seporate when they are thawed, but they still taste okay. With the more starchy foods, the consistency may be a little thicker, but you can just add in a bit of extra water if you want to. It's great to freeze them in lunch size portions.
