Re: I absolutely LOVE Mother-ease!! ACTION SHOTS!

Yeah, I have two Sandy's, and now that I see pics of comparison, I like the look of the MEOS better!

DS still sleeping... I *WILL* eventually get an action shot!!!

Re: I absolutely LOVE Mother-ease!!

It's so funny that you posted this because I was JUST thinking how awesome ME diapers are too! I snagged a dozen cotton stay-dry one-size at a great price to try on my chunky 20 pound 9 month dd and they are a really nice fit on her. They are wide all over so this is actually a good thing because it provides great coverage (like granny panties as someone mentioned, lol!) The stay-dry lining also really does work at feeling dry. I feel like I don't even want to try any other fitteds now that I have these. We are only going to get some Sandies and more MEOS and I think we'll be stash content! DD is wearing the one-size with a bamboo liner (made by me) under a large Aristocrat and her bum IS huge but I think that is mostly due to the crat. Still haven't tried the covers but we have some on the way.

Re: I absolutely LOVE Mother-ease!! ACTION SHOTS!

I had a few MEOS for DD, and really loved them. I was anti-fitted at first (seemed pointless to pay that much for a diaper, and then have to use covers, too). Plus, the OS just look silly and boring! But someone gave me 5 of them, and they were great! They did seem loose around the leg, but still never leaked, though we had fairly solid poops most of the time at that point. I loved them coverless while we were PTing, since they were quicker than a prefold to get off and on, and more reliable coverless. I haven't tried any of their other products, but I have a few x-sm Sandy's and AF covers for the new baby, whenever he/she shows up. The PUL is so soft and flexible! If I had the budget and didn't already have a million prefolds, I think I'd get a bunch more Motherease.

Oh, they washed up great, too. Except for the organics, they all have 15% polyester. I was worried they would hold smells because of it, but they seemed to have less stink issues than even my prefolds.

I did dye mine myself. I got it before they started selling them in colors. They dye really well.

And wow Stacy your little guy is huge compared to Phoebe. She's 13 pounds and 24 inches.

I think the sandys are trim but I've only ever used the smalls on toddlers more than 20 lbs

my youngest is now 28lbs and almost two - and they wont make him until potty training but the crotch for those worried about it is really squishy - i mean its not stiff at all so it just folds in half when they want to close their legs

I use (and love!) MEOS and personally I like the cotton ones better. The bamboo takes forever to dry which really annoys me. As far as absorbency, I think the cotton and bamboo are equal.
