Re: Talk to me about BIBS...

My favorites are the 2-pack of long sleeved ones we bought at Ikea for $3.99. They're not fancy, but they do the job well, and you can't beat the price.

Re: Talk to me about BIBS...

I absolutely love the bumkins ones. I used the snap-able pocket ones from Walmart with DD, and they are okay for DS. I happened to stumble upon some Bumkins bibs at BabysRUs, and I absolutely love them. He has a big neck, and these are quite adjustable. Also very lightweight and easy to wash. Good luck! Oh, and I hate trying new things only to waste the money...it's almost a phobia! lol I was not disappointed at all with these. Good luck, mama!!

Re: Talk to me about BIBS...

The Wal-mart ones have held up pretty well for us...DD has been using them for over a year and I wash them in the machine at least twice a week.

I have the bumkins ones, and while they are really nice, DD just yanks them off. We can't do velcro bibs here.

Re: Talk to me about BIBS...

We have a mally bib and it is by far the best! It's not cheap $30 but it's leather, super cute and you just wipe it off and stick it to the fridge. It has a magnetic closure which is very handy for hanging. It's the only bib we need/have. I love not having loads of bibs to wash like I did when dd was little.

Re: Talk to me about BIBS...

Why, why, oh why don't we have an Ikea close by? They have such cool stuff and they are sooo cheap!!!

The Kiddopotamus ones are 2 for $10 with free site-to-store shipping at Walmart.com (and DH works there, so it's not out of our way.) I will probably try those and then move on to the Crumb Chum if we need something bigger. I will definitely look for a Bumkins at BRU the next time I'm in Knoxville, though. I'll know better if I will want to spent the $$$ on one if I can feel and see it in person.

And those Mally bibs-- sooo cute! Waaaayyyy out of my price range (and they don't have pockets ) but definitely adorable!

I like the towel-like pull-over bibs that a couple PP mentioned... but I *really* need a pocket. I can't stand picking DD up and finding food stuck to her bum

I used to work at a daycare and NOTHING bothered me, except cleaning the babies after lunch, lol. I could handle baby puke, baby poo-- you name it! But mushed up corn, carrots, and BBQ Beef is enough to make me weak in the knees. I'm getting nauseous just thinking about it

Thanks for all the good advice mamas!!!
