My sister in law just had a new baby!!! YAY!! Her name is Camryn Marie!!

Well my sister in law doesn't have a baby swing... and I don't have any left because we already got rid of them

So I told her as her baby gift I would get her a swing...

What kinds do you like? Or dislike?

I used to have the cradle swings- BUT it had a really wide base...

One I was thinking of was the kind you can put an infant car seat into... because then they could take it with them if need be... but they are SO EXPENSIVE for something that doesn't even have a seat....

Any thoughts??

I had and love the cradle swing, I love that it swings in 2 different directions.
I gave mine to my sil and my new neice loves the swing!

We loved our Rain Forest swing! and it plugged in.Such a nice thing when you run out of batteries at 2 am with a colicky newborn.
It does have a wide base, which if space is an issue is a really big flaw.
The other things I liked was the ability to change the direction it swung(reflux baby liked side to side more then front to back, which made him puke and scream), the mobile, and the music.

We like our fisher price 3 in 1. It is a infant seat, baby swing and toddler rocker. My DD will sit in it still but it goes to 40 pounds or so.

we love our rainforest swing too! it rocks back and forth, side to side reclines, different speeds, different music and it even has a mobile. We LOVE ours

We liked our Rain Forest travel swing. It got the job done and didn't take up alot of room. We only changed the batteries 1 time in 6 months and she used the crap outta that thing

cradle swing!! We have the little lamb one, love it, wish it plugged in though! I know many do, just not my version.
