Re: Where in your back do you feel back labor?

Yup, I'd say get some rest. It sounds like your body is starting to warm up for labor. With dd2, I had back labor. We thought she was going to be sunny side up, but it ended up that she had her arm up and came out with her hand on her opposite cheek. I had pain in my lower back with each contraction, and it was like in the small of my back. Dh was chasing me around with a hot rice sock each time I had a contraction. Poor guy. Oh, and we have heated seats in our car, and when I got to the hospital, I didn't want to get out because the heat felt sooooooooo good, it really helped. Good luck, hope she comes soon!

I also had back labour and it was in my lower back. It was horrible! I have back problems to begin with, so it just heightened my pain. But DH learned really quickly exactly where to apply pressure and where to heat up the heating pad!

Re: Where in your back do you feel back labor?

Ya but the practice ones get work done ahead of time, leaving less to do at labor time. You might want to get your back adjusted if it is out that will help ease back labor. Also work on sitting right getting baby in position that might help you avoid back labor too. Ugh I hate back labor!
