Re: a basic weekend... chat and share a recipe????
dd2 is SO tired...she was NAK and not swaddled in her blanket and her little arms were flailing and keeping her awake. I tried holding the "top" arm but she managed to scratch herself in the face and then started screaming and looking at me with her tired, teary eyes as if to say "HOW COULD YOU LET THIS HAPPEN!?!?!?!?!"
So we went upstairs, changed the diaper (was wet) and wrapped her in her blanket....she is NAK and much more comfortable and nearing sleep. Do any of you swaddle your LO's? DS and DD1 HATED the idea of ANYTHING tight on them from birth...DD2 *loves* it and has since her first minute of life DH jokes that DD2 was over 2 weeks late being born just because she liked it so squishy in there. She is 6 months old, but I still swaddle for naps/night (cosleep)

Re: a basic weekend... chat and share a recipe????
Neither of our kids ever liked being swaddled. They both wiggled until they were out and then fell sleep. If they couldn't get out, they'd just scream until we undid it.

Re: a basic weekend... chat and share a recipe????
I just read through the whole weekend - and am too lazy to type up a recipe - because first of all I'd have to think of one, and dig it out of a box where its packed

Re: a basic weekend... chat and share a recipe????
okay my last post is long enough so I'll just add here
![]() anybody seen any cheap used premium pfs? I'm so sad - my youngest really doesnt pee on the potty - I've been trying for a few days - he now sits there happily eating or drinking juice, reading a book, pointing out characters on his seat but will not go Its frustrating because he knows what goes on there and goes right after he gets off I'm going to have two in diapers again --- and my grandma is going to get after me

DS NEEDED to be swaddled until about 3 months, at which point he started screaming bloody murder until we unswaddled him.

Re: a basic weekend... chat and share a recipe????
I would love to be able to swaddle Bennett, but he seems to hate it. He likes to have his arms free. He seems to startle and unsettle himself a lot though. I can't wait til he can roll over, and sleeps on his tummy.
