I hear you. The other day my Mil offered to come down to watch our kids while we go away for a few days. "Of course, you'll have to wean (dd)" she says, "but maybe that can be a goal."

she wants me to wean my 8 month old to go away for a few days and leave my kids w/ her? Ummm. No.

I used to get that from my family. But I BF Donovan until 18 mos and Alex is still BFing and he is 19 mos. Now they don't even bother to comment because I will BF as long as my DC want to
Another thing my mom used to always as is if I had enough milk. I got tired of her asking, I expressed some to show her and it shot out and squirted my DS in the face. She never asked me about my supply again LOL
