You don't have to do anything that you don't feel comfortable doing. That's why you have your mommy instincts. Besides, if they can't remember what your DD looks like enough to pick her out in a room (assuming that they have pictures of her), what guarantee do you have that they will return you the same child they left with?
And no, I'm not being funny. I can picture them taking your DD to a public place like a playground/chuck e cheese type and attempting to leave with the wrong child.
