Oh no. I have a prefold addiction!

I've just realized that I have a prefold addition. I've opened new credit card so I could purchase diapers, but all I buy are prefolds. What's wrong with me? DH tells me to stop with the prefold buying, and each time I say "Just a few more dozens, I promiss!" We're flat broke btw. We're unemployed at the moment with $57 in our bank account, and $6,000 in credit card dept. How many prefolds do you have? Here's what I have:

10 infant ones on their way
49 premium chinese
18 premium indian
79 toddler chinese

156 total. Yikes. I think I need help. Where's that wagon everyone talks about?

In my defense I only wash diaper laundry once a week.

That's really a LOT of PFs!
I used to have 3 dz Premiums, now I'm down to only 1 dz as I mainly use them as a back up these days.

I had about that many prefolds!! I am in the process of selling a bunch of them. But let me tell you it is all I can do to keep from ording those rainbow shorts from GMD!!

Wow, thats a lot of PFs! I used 2 dz when Neala was a nb, but now I hav ea variety. I foudn PFs didn't work overnight for her, I used FBs for a while overnight, but now I use Kissaluvs overnight and only need 1 dz PFs. then again, I wash every other day .

PS- be careful about washing once a week. Some of my PFs molded b/c I used to wash every 3-4 days (those are cleaning rags now), that's why I wash so often now.

I haven't had any mold grown on mine. I don't use bleach either. Are you throwing poopie dipes into the pail until wash day? I'm curious.

We have 18 infants and 24 premiums. And I thought WE had a lot!

I have lots of prefolds in various sizes, but I only actually use 18-24 premiums for my 20mo and 24 infants are out waiting to be used on the new baby. I wash every 2-3 days, so I really don't need more than that out. I think I'm going to buy a couple dozen new premiums too for when this baby moves into that size, because most of the premiums my 20mo is currently using are starting to get pretty ragged. They've had a lot of hard use on 3 babies and need replacing. It's easy for me to accumulate prefolds, because it's just not hardly worth the hassle of selling them to me. Plus, I could use them in a pinch like if we lost power or something or as cleaning rags or even momma pads.

6 preemies
14 infant prefolds
30 premiums
38 toddlers

That's 88! Yikes! We love our prefolds too! We are using toddlers now but I've been using the infants to stuff pockets and the preemies as a doubler for our overnight pocket.
