How do you clean your children's toys?

When I worked in a daycare, we disinfected toys daily with bleach water. It loses potency after 24 hours, so we made up a new spray bottle every day. I can't remember the proportions, but it doesn't take much bleach -- maybe a tablespoon in a spray bottle? That's a guess.... sorry....

I do wash DD's toys (fabric in the washer, plastic in soap and water or with bleach water) after she's had a nasty illness, yes, and every so often the bath toys and the bath mat get bleached (then rinsed a lot) to get potential mold and mildew under control.

I use to use bleach water. About 1/4cup and fill the tub 1/4 full. Then I'd rinse. Now I use Vinegar and I dont measure. I only give the tub treatment about twice a year and in between I just use my vinegar water spray bottle I use for the household cleaning.

I don't clean DD's toys unless something gets on them (smeared food, juice, etc).

I use dr. bronners castile and water. I use that and vinegar for almost everthing!

I wipe things down with disinfectant wipes after being sick! And just throw things in the washer if they can be washed.

I put all the fabric and plastic toys that don't use batteries in the washing machine. Most toys air dry and some of the fabric toys go in the dryer.
