Re: Does your nursery furniture match?

We don't have a nursery anymore, since our girls are toddlers. But the crib, dresser, changing table, and shelf were all white. Everything except the shelf went together as a set. We gave all of that furniture except the shelf away, though. Now we have new black beds and a black dresser, but still have the white shelf in their room. I think it looks fine.

No it doesn't and it bother's me, but no enough to replace it. We were given his dressers, there were a little girls and they were white so we painted them black. His crib was made by my FIL(dh's stepdad) so it's mostly dark wood but a couple of light pieces in there. It's beautiful, but I hated it. He couldn't nap in it when he was tiny(when I didn't or couldn't lay down with him) because it didn't have a drop down side) and it's also a pain to take apart because there are no screws or anything, it's all tongue and groove. We'll probably keep it as something to pass down if any of our kids want it but we won't be using it again.

Ditto, except I said I don't have a nursery, and I don't. DD lives in our room as our master bedroom is in the process of being mudded. The crib is white, was a handmedown from my aunt, the change table is oak and used to belong to a friend, she's currently using a cheap set of plastic drawers for a dresser, but will be taking over her daddy's brown dresser when the master is done (built in closet organizer). The crib is in peices in the basement, the change table holds her stash in the living room and the dresser is in the hallway. I can't wait for my master to be done!
