Yay Jen, so glad I'm not the only one who likes Collective Soul.
Myla, can't wait to see what you work up.

Kristi, love those!

Lisa, I'm in Asheville and Aimee used to live here. We can help. There are a million good places to visit. What do you like to do -- more outdoorsy stuff or shopping or museums?

On a woolie note I finished the hat I knit for my friend who is adopting a little boy in a couple of weeks. It is blocking and almost dry. Will take a photo in a bit. I have to make a pom pom for the top still.
Ah Asheville, the home of my heart! If you're planning to get all spendy, I'd say splash out for a weekend at the Grove Park Inn. If that's a bit much for your style, I would suggest the Haywood Park Hotel downtown.

Some restaurants worth a visit would definitely be Salsas on Patton, the Laughing Seed on Wall Street, and The Noodle Shop at pack square.

If you're into hiking, the Blue Ridge Parkway is right there, and of course, for sight-seeing, the Biltmore Estate is always worth a visit. Have fun!

We love it all! Will be bringing our youngest along as well as I just don't feel like weaning him for our trip.

Hi gals!!!

Well... It's time to be vacuuming and bathing the babies but here I sit...

I can't stay long.

I have no idea what we'll do today. I should be getting groceries... we may spend part of the day w/ my mom.

I would love to knit all day but lately that just hasn't been in the cards at all with the kids...

No TV is brutal on a mommy.

I'm glad you got your gauge figured out, though! Hopefully the stitch marker will turn up. I lose mine all the time and then Asa finds them and says, "Here's one of those things, Mom! Don't let Ellis get it!!"
