Plain yogurt can be spiced up to dip or there is always good ole peanut butter and celery. Tahini is also good with some things like gyros.

My kids love dipping in tomato sauce that I make. Their favorite though is Trader Joe's pizza sauce.

Try making your own hummus. Some of the store brands can taste pretty funky. Kids seem to love the garlic in the hummus, especially little ones. Have them make it with you, they will want to eat what they make. Let them taste it too as they are making it. Ask them if it needs more salt, or more garlic etc..
