Tonight, I decided I prefered the old way (seen above) and dyed some up to look like it. Which do you like better. The one above or this one:

ETA: I don't know why I changed to from so bold to so much less bold. It just happened slowley over time.
I usually love the bright colors but I think I like the third one of this the best. The second would be the runner up.

yes, the thinner yarn would be more airy if you will. it wouldn't give as dense a fabric. you aren't going to get 4 spi on 9's with a bulky and a light worsted. you would need to size down to a 7 for light worsted to get the same gauge.

The green in the colorway was like the lightest mint green I have ever seen. It pretty much looked white. I sold it immediately.

ETA: here's a pic of mine. the colors are 100% accurate.

I was very disappointed I re-ordered it in the coop it comes out like that

ETA - I ordered mine w/ orange trim and it was like BRIGHT orange, didn't even match .. so sad!

Teresa - I LOVE that first pic! I wunt sum a dat!

I found that pic today and was wondering why I ever changed it. The one I dyed tonight isn't a perfect match, but fairly close. Pics when it dryes, but I think I might need to start dyeing it that way again. I really love the colors in it.

sometimes these things just slowly happen... i don't write down things..so I worry about this

Re: The Wool I Know -- Thursday

do you guys think it is better to have a set stocking time? or more random

we have always done more random- just suited us better and i guess i also thought then we could move it around which would help out those that can never stalk at certain times...

I felt like a lot of the MM colorways turn out darker on cestari so I had that same train of thought with LM, guess not!
