Re: You know my WOOL don't lie and I'm starting to feel it's right -- SUNDAY

cool, I need to order some 6's and 7's. I only have 5's and 8's. Does anyone remember the website that sells Addi knock offs for like $5?

Thanks Aimee. That is the one I was thinking about knitting -

I'm not sure if this is what you're thinking of, but knitpicks.com has nickel-plated 16" circulars for $5-6 a pair.

Maybe. Its worth trying anyway. I have even gone down to 4's on some light worsted yarns.

i use 7s on worsted weight. I also knit really tightly, like silly tightly, so I tend to use 7s for everything, even aran weight and the work I just posted that has the stripes is bulky - I'm using 7s for those.

Re: You know my WOOL don't lie and I'm starting to feel it's right -- SUNDAY

I think I'm going to FROG the RK LS longies. I feel really stuck. I hate working with my 10.5 DPNs. I know I'll never make it through 2 LS legs.

I know I put a lot of work in to them... but it's not worth the work I still have to go.

After all this, I don't even want the yarn anymore. I don't like it that much... I wish she'd do the darker RK again.

But if I FROG it... then what do I do with the yarn? It's Naiad and I realized recently that I hate Naiad. It's just too thin.

But can I sell frogged yarn?

I don't know what to do. I feel sad about messing this up so badly.

Molly - I would just wind it back up in a ball. I know of some mamas that do it - and you are the second person with the same thought as RK.
Besides it will sell in a heartbeat....

I would definitely rather have the money than the yarn at this point. Sadly.

I hope I don't mess up Goblin this badly.

No more LS for me. I've had several people ask me to do it for them... but I hate it. It was worth it for E's bday pants... but I don't think I will continue to practice it.
