Re: What's for dinner this week? Mar 2nd - March 8th

Sunday - a couple of vacuum-packs of curry with basmati rice and naan bread

Monday - Nicoise salad

Tuesday - DH is going to a basketball game with his boss so I'm having leftover salad

Wednesday - veggie tacos

Thursday - manicotti and garlic bread

Friday - DH leaving to go ice fishing for the weekend, so I'll probably order a pizza or scramble some eggs

Saturday - another night alone, so who knows?

Re: What's for dinner this week? Mar 2nd - March 8th

We had a fine mismatched meal the other night- I got a full-bodied red to go with an olive plate, and then had some awesome sausages from WF, w broccoli on the side. Yesterday we were out for a late lunch and then grazed separately. I defrosted lentil soup I made last week to alternate with sandwiches for lunch. Later Alex will saute some bola de res & I'll make mushrooms for one side and asparagus for another. The leftover mushrooms will potentially go into a red pasta sauce at some point in the next day or two. We're due for a taco night & then I'll make a casserole for next week. That sums up what's been going on in my kitchen this week & what will be going on through about Sunday. Oh also, we made & froze some sweet potato for D the other day, but I'm not sure about the texture. I don't think the juicer is good for first baby foods & plan to use the blender next time.... but that's a story for a whole different thread!
