sleep issue in nearly5 month old cosleeping baby

Well my dd is doing this maddening thing where she is up every 25 minutes or so from bedtime till about 11pm when she shifts to every two hourly. And believe it or not i've made peace with that part (the every 2 hours)...we're up and running with the cosleeping and phew! am i ever getting much more sleep. But, seriously it is driving me INSANE that she won't stay out for a reasonable interval in the beginning part of the night...i am constantly running back up to nurse/rock/soothe whatever. i had this same problem with ds when he was a baby and it made us CRAZY...until he was 8 months when we finally had to take steps to improve the situation and we used the baby whisperer's method (which involves crying, but not alone and you do soothe the baby...) anyway i don't want to do anything...i want her to just improve on her own, but I CAN NOT be running back up every 20 minutes all night long. i need my time with dh!!

she is in her crib, which was never a problem before...and she is capable of falling asleep on her own, and she sometimes does...argh argh.

does anyone else have this problem and what to do?

Yea, that sounds about right. Unfortunately. For a few months I just went to bed with ds and forfeit time with DH at night. It kinda sucked, no way around that. It got MUCH better with time. I'm sorry you are going through this.
