Re: Swaddlebees NB fitteds vs. Kissaluvs 0 Fitted

So funny that you posted this.. I just washed all our nb dipes today and the 4 SB OV's we have were new so I didn't know how teeny they'd be until after washing--- they are SO TEENY TINY! I'm not even sure we'll get more than a week out of them so I'm debating selling them. My dd was 8lbs, 15oz at birth and I expect ds to be similar in weight. She wore the KL 0s right away and not for long. I can't decide b/c I love the softness of the SBs but maybe we should have a few more smalls instead-- AAGGGHHH!

I am now in the same boat. Our sonogram today revealed another chunker! I was thinking that he might not be in them for more than a week or two!

I wonder how soon a newborn would fit into a small SB fitted? I have been wanting to post this same thing, I love SBs, but if they are too small....

that is what I have been thinking! I may sell of my 12 NB's when I get them if they seem to small when baby is born and go straight to the smalls. I wonder how much of size difference there is between the NB and small SB? Maybe I can write the owner and ask her....

My DS wore small SB as soon as his cord fell off, since they don't have the snap-down. He was already 9lbs by then though. I had one small SB OV dipe and I absolutely loved it. HTH!

Re: Swaddlebees NB fitteds vs. Kissaluvs 0 Fitted

Hmmm... My DS was 9lbs 5oz at birth and he wore the NB SBs for about 8 weeks or so... He was probably 12-13 lbs when he out grew them. I like them much better then KL0s... more absorbant and dry SOOOOOO much faster.

Re: Swaddlebees NB fitteds vs. Kissaluvs 0 Fitted

i definitly prefered the fit and absorbancy of the NB SBs over the KL 0's. however, my DS outgrew the NB SBs at 2wks when he was 10&1/2lbs (born 9lbs, 4oz, went down to 8&1/2lbs). he did fit into the small regular SBs OCV fitteds from the start too, though they were definitly bulkier then the NB ones.
