ugh dice!

So dd keeps going into dh's poker chip set thing and taking the dice out and sticking them in her mouth! (btw she can fit all five dice that come with the set in her mouth!!) I've tried to tell her over and over again no you can hurt yourself but nothing works! dh is too ditzy to remember to put his poker chips up. She never sticks things in her mouth, this is the only thing! How do I get her to stop this? we have too many board games with dice in them to try and get them all at a height she can't reach.

Not sure what to do about your daughter but maybe to teach your DH a lesson and help him remember plan for him to change a poopy diaper. But right before he does take a dice and stick it into the poopy diaper and act all shocked an alarmed that she ate one. Maybe it will help him remember to keep them out of her path. Its not honest but maybe it will help.

Re: ugh dice!

I'd remeove some dice and hide them, then stick the set out in the garage. When he asks about it, or sees the dice missing, tell him she must have eaten them.
I love the idea of sticking one in her diaper and having him change her.
I used to fight Ds over Dh's magazines, they are not cheap. He was only about 18mths and didn't know, so I let him rip the covers off a few. Then was shocked when Dh found them. He never left them out again.
