Do I need to fix this/if so, how?

First of all, I'm not in pain, and my 6wk old is gaining weight and has lots of wet dipes/not a big pooper, but anyway, we might be ok, but thought I'd run it past more experienced BFers.

My baby's top lip curls inward when he's nursing- more so when he's nursed for awhile and my breast is soft and feeling empty. So his lips sometimes move in and out with each suck. I can't see what his bottom lip is doing, but no matter how much I try I can't get him to latch and have that top lip flanged out we can't get it. Is this a problem do you think? Are there any tricks that could help?

I never much payed attention to lips myself with my kids. I know with my second he had a latch similar I think to what your describing.....if its not causingpain then I wouldn't fret.
