Any probiotic recommendations?
Hi - just wondering if anyone could give me any recommendations for SPECIFIC probiotics? DS has been sick and on antibiotics for double ear infection (AGAIN!!) and I am sure the ENT is going to recommend a month of antibiotic (Augmentin) to fully clear it - the antibiotics in the past have given him serious diarrhea (TMI - sorry...) and this last course has also given him a yeast infection
poor baby... any help would be MOST appreciated! thanks, Mamas!

Re: Any probiotic recommendations?
I recently started my ds on Flora Baby when he got rotovirus. It seemed to help a lot and I've continued to give it to him a daily basis since he's recovered from the virus. I just mix it in his milk in the morning, and he even asks for it now.
I haven't used any other probiotics in the past, so I don't have anything to judge it on, but I've been happy with this product (although it seems a little pricey). |

I usually rotate out brands. Right now we are using Jarrows.
Have you tried a chiro? My ds went through a 3 month circle with ear infections and tons of RX(that didnt work). I finally had enough and took him to the chiro. Within 3 weeks the infection was gone. We ended up keeping the ENT apt just to have his hearing checked(which ended up being fine) and havnt had an ear infection since.

Re: Any probiotic recommendations?
Thanks, ladies! will look for these! the Rx have been clearing the infections - but they recur, ENT suspects silent reflux (minor) just enough to cause ear issues as he doesn't spit up
