Re: What do you do when your child is not "afraid" of the stove????
My DH burned himself very badly as a toddler on a stove door so I am hyper vigilant about it. I have my kitchen gated off because DS could not understand why I would say no touch HOT when he was near the stove. Most of the time it is not hot and I touch it all the time so he did not make the association until I gave him some hot (but not too hot) food. Now he gets the concept of hot but still likes to push my buttons by touching the stove. The gate is a sanity saver.
