Soft sole sandals for wide footed toddler?

Does anyone know what a good brand of soft sole sandals for wide footed toddlers? With ds1 I loved buskins, but his feet were long and narrow, and so were the shoes. Ds2 has short chubby feet, the same style of shoes just don't fit him right. I love moss feet shoes on him, but I am afraid they would be way to warm in the Tx summer. I need some sandals for him. Any ideas?

Shoo shoos are wide, but I don't know if they sell them here in the US anymore.

Lil Jos have some cute sandals. They seem to run wide - my DS has extra wide feet and they fit him good. www.liljos.com

Re: Soft sole sandals for wide footed toddler?

I second the Shoo Shoos recommendation. They never fit my dd b/c her feet were just so narrow and small! You might also check out Babies Beyond Borders shoes called Bambino shoes. I have some from last year that never fit her again b/c they were too wide.

If you are looking for something flexible w/a sole, See Kai Runs tend to run wide, as well. And Preschoolians also have a wide version. Altough PediPeds were my favorite, they do tend to run right in the middle, so they might not be a good option until you get to the 12-18 month size - they seemed to be a little wider.

Hmmm...Soft Star shoes might not be the best option, either. I don't prefer the sole on the shoes (not the mocs) b/c I feel like it's too hard, even when dd was wearing her SKRs and Preschoolians. I don't recall them running wide, either.

Also, I noticed in target tonight that they are selling a soft-soled shoe made by Bobux for $12-14 IIRC. They've always had soft-soled shoes, but they have changed their line-up. I do know that the older Target styles run big, but I don't know about wide. It woudl be pretty easy to check them out, though.

I'm a shoe-a-holic and we've tried just about every shoe out there! My poor children - they have WAY TOO MANY shoes!
