...why do I start craving cookies and comfort foods and wanting to go hide in my room and eat them?

It's so quiet and peaceful before they get home....

LOL -- I'm that way when I've had a long day -- except my kids are too young to go to school so I have to wait until Nate gets home from work so I can get some quiet time.

Understood! I remember those days. My 3 youngest are quiet. 3 older.. not so much. DH is working out of town 2 weeks at a time then home for 2 days. Nights suck. I have so much respect for military wives! (My baby sis is one) 2 weeks is hard enough!

i have a dark chocolate stash - my sister was in town working and baby sat one night for a couple hrs - all she had was dinner/bath/bed - she said she understood why i have chocolate

Thank you Thank you Thank you!! I thought it was just me!! The twins are so relaxed during the day and everything goes decent,, I pick the 2 older kiddos up and it is like someone through a stick of dynamite in a lake

Hiding and eating,, I love that idea!
