The Tummy Tub

http://www.tummytub.co.uk/

Has anyone on here tried one. I love the concept, the videos make them look great and the babies really seem to enjoy them.

My LO is much to big now for one, but I love the idea for my next.

Just wondering if anyone has had any first hand experience with them.

Re: The Tummy Tub

how much is it? I have no idea how to convert.
Seems like an interesting concept BUT....babies can't be submerged until the cord falls off....so wouldn't they be adjusted to the "outside world" by the time they could actually use it (does that make sense?)

Actually Europe, Australia and New Zealand plus other places don't tell you that you can't bathe your child till it falls off. It seems its a US thing.

They tell you as long as you dry it after your baby will be fine. Every baby i have ever known while growing up in the UK had baths from being born and I have never once heard of a baby having an infection.

I think its the US and its crazy over protective ways. Look how many babies are born within Europe Australia and New Zealand, they all seem to being doing fine

We use one kind of like that, and we love it! She still uses it and she is just over a year old. She likes regular baths too, but this saves water and she can also sit in it when one of us is taking a shower. It is the best baby bathtub I ever owned.
