Daddy Help..how does this work?

If he is working 12 hour shifts, how are his days off? My dh did 10 hour shifts for a while, with 3 days off and I love it but the PD went back to 8 hour shifts. Midnights for us is just like days, only he is sleeping when most people are working and working when most people are sleeping. The worst part I think is the constant "shhh, daddy's sleeping" all day to two little boys. We usually found things away from home to do while DH slept. He got up when I made dinner then we had time together in the evening. I am a SAHM though, so I can work around him. How long are his shift picks for? My DH changes every 6 months so by the time you get used to one it changes. Another bonus (hopefully is the same for you) the off shifts get more money!
