Brands of yeast

Active dry yeast -
Is one brand better than another? If so, why?

I know there is Red Star, Bobs Red Mill, Fleischmann's, Hodgson Mill, as well as generics.

Re: Brands of yeast

NOPE, they all act the same. No flavor difference or anything.
The differences come when you want to make it from Fresh yeast which does not need as much time to Bloom. comes in a "Cake" form in the Refrigerated section. Just make sure you read the package to make sure you use the Right amount. I don't remember but I think Dry active and Fresh cake form measure Differently.
