that's funny I've been cosidering options too because mi marido (dh) is starting grad school this fall and I'm trying to find a way to stay home while we are paying for tutition LOL and i'm iin the midwest too (kansas)

I also recommend diapering decisions for info and even buying businesses.

If you buy the business you don't have to do all the start up registration and finding and securing wholesale sources.. but you can expect to pay a bit for the business.. I think it's 3 years worth of profits?????

You can start with a business license at the town hall and contact your state about getting a resale certificate.. then you can at least talk to wholesale contacts.. you can email companies of the products you want to carry, they'll tell you if they are accepting new retailers and if so, you fax them your resale certificate and they will give you the info on ordering..

just curious and wanting to get some ideas.....how much do you think on avg it would cost to buy someones store and get started....i know it prob depends on their inventory, but just a guestimate
