Thats the awesome thing abou tthe new papsan fisher price swing it has a plug in the foot to plug into the wall if you want or you can opt to use battieres too!! I love that feature for sure!!

oh and has everyone seen that graco has come out with a swing like contraption that you can click your graco infant car seat into and it will swing and swing !! SOOO Awesome!! Especially for those times when you just get home baby is sleeping but you dont want to leave them in the car even though you dont want to just bring them in and set them doen either, now you can just click it into this swing like contraption--clicks just like the base or the stroller does and it will swing the carseat!! I wish I could have used that!!

that is good info (about sleeping upright) but thanfully ours is a cradle swing!
