Monitor with 2 transmitters?
Hi. I'm pregnant with my 2nd so not really a large family, but I was hoping you ladies would have an answer for this. I have a monitor for DD. She just started sleeping in her room at 13 months old. I'm not sure when baby #2 will sleep in her/his room. I'm wondering what to do about a monitor. Is there one with 2 transmitters & 1 receiver? If I buy a second 1 for the new baby's room, will it interfere with the 1 I have for older DD? Has anyone had this problem?

Re: Monitor with 2 transmitters?
I don't know of any that have two monitors and one recievers except for video monitors.
Setting two monitors to different channels should work. So, if your monitor has an A and a B channel just set the toddlers to A and the baby to B. This way though you do have two recievers though. If you use the digital ones graco has a dual monitor system in the digital http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS.../chrisficti-20

Re: Monitor with 2 transmitters?
If your house is not too large, you should be able to hear your older child pretty easily in the next few months. We stopped using a monitor with our DS when he was about 15 months old.
Most monitors have two channels, make sure to check both channels on the monitor you currently have to make sure you don't pick up any neighbors monitor signals.

Re: Monitor with 2 transmitters?
I bought this one
http://www.toysrus.com/product/index...ductId=2373669 when I was a paranoid FTM. I still use it because i can switch back and forth between the 2 babies. Works good a bit pricey though. Good luck Coleen |
