What's a reasonable number

of dipes for a 14 month old who isn't a heavy wetter? Trying to decide if I'm buying too much or not. Although since Canada post doesn't seem to be in a hurry to deliver my dipes I feel like i don't have enough. One of these days they might all get here but will I have too many then?

Re: What's a reasonable number

I'd say no less than 20, but the more the better.

nak

it's different for everyone based on their needs/lifestyle. When i didn't have quite enough i was stressing about getting the laundry finished. Now that i have plenty, i can delay folding if i'm busy and not run out of dipes. Also, i can keep several in the car, downstairs, DH's car, his and my diaper bag, etc without stressing so i would want at least 30-40.

Our twins are 15 months and we have 45 diapers. I do try to wash every day.

wow! I guess we are low... I have a 19 month old though so maybe that's a few less diapers a day. He has total of 13 right now.

Re: What's a reasonable number

My 15-month-old has about 22 pockets, and a few prefolds and covers (but I don't use them much anymore).

Re: What's a reasonable number

I can honestly say that I have not counted, but if I had to guess, I would say that my 15 mo has 5-6 AI2s, 8-9 pockets, 10 or so fitteds, and covers. I know that for a lot of people, that would not be enough, but it is almost too many for us. I said almost though, because I have more on the way. I just cannot seem to stop shopping. Hope that answer is a good one!!! LOL
