Or she could of meant impetigo. But it looks nothing like that, more rashy than ringlike. To me it looks very raised and not scaly. ?? Is it itching your dd? Does she have any other symptoms?

i agree it doesn't look like any pics of the hookworm.

The thing about the Granuloma Annulare is that the pics are SO VARIED!! Some of those pics looked like eczema...or maybe I have Granuloma Annualre too!?

The pics you found do look alot like that though. That would be a great diagnosis though. It will just clear up on its own in 2 years or so.

Now...I can't search rash pics tummy is queasy.

She has NO signs of it being hookworm, the "welts" on her foot have NEVER bothered her. They've been there for over 3 months. And I am VERY sure that her dr would have tested her. All the information I've read on hookworm and ALL the pictures I've seen doesn't look like or resemble what she has.

she has an apt tomorrow with a derm. I have to drive an hour but I got her in.
Granuloma Annulare is said to be caused by trauma, these "welts" sit on the same foot that had to have stitches.

here is pix I pulled

now, I'm no DR but it does NOT look like hookworm

and Granuloma Annulare

Thank you for all of your responses. I can end this thread by saying it is what I thought it was. I am thankful that my mom did most of the research for me and put my mind at ease by forwarding me a link for Granuloma Annulare because that is what it is.

I am thankful for the great dermatologist that we saw this morning who put my mind even more at ease by telling me it's not rare and it will go away, not to be surprised if it shows up in other places.

I'm thankful for my friends who were worried about my little Gracie, GOD knows that we've been through A LOT of scares with her.

I am also VERY thankful that GOD heard me and I was able to be seen in such SHORT notice which is very uncommon for a dermatologist.

Thank you all for your concern... on to the next thread I suppose
