Will not take a bath!!

Lauren will not go into the tub or the sink. Actually anything with water..She does not like it. To keep her clean I wipe her down with a warm wash cloth.

Anyone else have children afraid of water/tub/sink? How did you deal with it?

YES!!! so I got in the tub first and brought them in with me. It can be scary to them but with me holding them securely or nursing it made them calm. (this works good for babies who aren't nursing well too) anyway, Worked everytime. we did away with all baby plastic bath tubs.

What about a swimsuit? My little cousin does this, and her mom just puts her in a swimsuit and they pretend the bathtub is a pool - works everytime!

The swimsuit is a good idea. My son was terrified of the bath and did have one for 6 months. I would hold him on my lap in a stool in the shower but he really hated it. One day I got a plastic tub and filled it with water and put it in the kitchen. We put a bunch of pails and toys in it. He played on the outside for a long time but finally climbed in and didn't mind the bath since. His first bath was a big celebration.
