preferred fabric (hemp, cotton, bamboo, etc) under longies??
after reading all the raves about wool, ive decided to order my first pair of longies.
i need recommendations on fitteds to go under the longies....i've had a lot trouble finding the right size pockets/aios for my toddler (he is 16 months, 29" and 18lbs). i prefer snaps to aplix and something that wicks moisture fairly well. and i could use some spam on where to buy longies. thanks! kirsten

I love the Snug to fits. They come in aplix or snaps! greenmountaindiapers.com carries them!

Re: taking the wool plunge, need advice...
What are your preffered fabrics for fitteds to under longies?
Just wondering if there are fabrics/brands that are more likely to keep the wool dry? Thanks! Kirsten

Re: taking the wool plunge, need advice...
Anything that is absorbent enough will keep the wool from getting too wet. Overnight, NOTHING is going to keep the wool dry; however, as heavy as Logan wets, and as damp as the insides of our wool gets, once it's dry it's fresh as it was before. Unless, that is, it's due for a washing; we've got a large enough wool collection that we only have to wash every 3 weeks or so, though (unless I've been using just a couple pieces instead of rotating).
Check out Ooey's "Instock Longies" post; it may've dropped off the first page. She listed a bunch that are available! GMWW is very nice, and very affordable. She has an etsy store; here's a link... http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=11818 I prefer either organic cotton (fleece or velour) or hemp; they work better for my heavy wetter.
