I use corstarch a lot too, just make sure it's not a yeast rash, as cornstarch makes yeast worse.

I've started using Dixie Babies Bum Butter and had great results with it! It works as well as Desitin did for us (which doesn't say much, I was more of an A&D kinda gal) if not better! which reminds me I need to buy more! lol

Hope he gets better soon...we have a yeast rash here (badly)

We use cut of microfleece here too. You could probably get away with even 1/4 yard. It makes a lot...you would be surprised! Way cheaper, and no sewing required as it doesn't fray. I am all about the reusable stuff!

Am I missing something? I've never used anything special as a liner when we use desitin... DD has super sensitive skin, so she almost always has a rash or some redness, we use desitin a lot. Does it ruin dipes or something?

I have heard that you shouldn't use it with microfleece, but it sounds like lots of mamas do that, so is it not an issue?

We've never had any absorbancy probs....
