Re: bottle recommendations??

My ds only uses BreastFlow from The first years, I got them at BRU. They have two nipples so compression and suction to get the milk out so it makes it close to breastfeeding. Before I found this bottle we tried Avent but he wouldn't take them.

My son preferred the Playtex nursers. Much easier for him to latch on to.

Re: bottle recommendations??

I tried everything under the sun... my daughter ended up liking the NUK nipples (orthodontic ones). Recently, NUK came out with a wide mouth bottle and nipple system. I bought a three pak of them, and dd LOVES them. They tested them at daycare, and when you try to give her one of the old NUKs now, she throws it! LOL. They are expensive though, like $13 for three of them. But the silicone nipple is extremely soft and squishy, more so than any other nipple I've tried, and that seems the closest to me, so no wonder she likes it!

Re: bottle recommendations??

It is because the milk would come out too fast and the babies may end up preferring the fast and easy flow to the slower flow of mamas milk.

I never went over the #1 nipple with my DD and she was just fine.
