Have you ever used Zicam on your toddler?

I think the package says no kids under 5 or 6 should receive it. Has anyone used it on a younger child? I mean, it's just Zinc, right? My dd seems to have a cold and I was thinking of giving her a tiny, tiny bit.

If it says not to, then I wouldnt.

To keep my DD from getting my DH's head cold I was giving her Hylands Vit. C tablets and it seems to of worked well. Maybe you can pick some up, I get mine at the local drug store, but Whole Foods and Henrys Market also carries it.

The package says three and over. I have used it on my DD when she was 3 and had no problems. I still use it (the whole family except DS) at the first sign of the sniffles.
