Re: Popsicle recipes?

We just do fruit juice in our tupperware molds. Watermelon is another quickie.
I was thinking of doing yogurt too... Just dumping it into the molds and freeze. Not sure if this would work though!

Re: Popsicle recipes?

We freeze V8 Fusion (the fruit & veggie juice). We also make frozen yogurt in our popsicle molds.

this is a recipe made with kool aid

1 pkt koolaid
1 box (3 oz) jello
1 c. sugar
1 T lemon juice
2 c. hot water
2 c. cold water

dissolve jello and kool-aid in hot water and add the rest of the ingredients. make popsicles as usual

the important thing is the ratio of water or liquid to gelatin. This recipe is pretty much one batch of double strength kool aid (one qt water instead of two) and half strength gelatin (4 cups liquid instead of 2) So keep that in mind when you are making substitutions. maybe if you are using concentrated juice, i would try to use concentrate and water to make 2 cups, while still using all of the concentrate. then you would still use the 2 c hot water and omit the sugar. I am guessing you will need the same or higher amount of lemon juice, as the koolaid is probably more acidic with sugar than your juice. just a guess off of the top of my head. I have not tried, but i will if you like.
