Anyone bake bread in a toaster oven or bake cycle on bread machine?

With summer upon us I am considering baking bread in our toaster oven but wanted to see if anyone had tried and what kind of results you got. I am spoiled and I love having fresh out of the oven bread several times a week for dinner, but I just can't stand the thought of running the oven when it's so hot out.

I was also considering trying the 'bake' setting on my bread machine.......which I put away because handmade is just WAY better than the machine and I hate the hole that it leaves in the bottom of the loaf. Though if I just use the bake cycle I wouldn't need to put the paddle in so the hole would be much smaller.

Any thoughts?
