French Rolling Pin

Does anyone have one of these? I have a regular rolling pin with handles (the wooden type) and haven't had any problems but I think I read that the french ones make circular pastries better (Pizza, Pie Crusts, and tortillas) anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

Re: French Rolling Pin

yes that is true but those are not necesary. If you can do your things with the one that you have then you are fine.
I have both.
Is it easier to make rounded things with the french rolling pins but takes some practice to use as well.

I love my french rolling pin! I do think it makes rolling out circular things easier!
