Re: Twin Playards
With my twins we use bassinets. I bought them on craigslist for 20.00 each. They are 4mo and still sleep in them. I have a larger pack in play for later or when traveling

Re: Twin Playards
The co-sleeper sounds pretty cool! We used the 5 in 1 bassinet by the first years for the first 6 weeks - they shared a bassinet until they started to get too big for that, and then we switched to Amby motion hammocks - they took up a fair bit of space, but they were great!

Re: Twin Playards
If you aren't picky about colors, you can often find a really good deal on the arm's reach original co-sleeper. Here's one for $147.95. That's less than a lot of PNPs:

Re: Twin Playards
With my girls, we kept them in the same bassinett (foot to foot) for about 8 weeks, then we had to move them into the same crib until about 3 months. After that, we found that they slept better and longer in separate cribs.
Good luck to your friend! :-) |

Re: Twin Playards
I love our plain 'ol Graco Pack and Play with bassinet- not changing table or other accessories. We have one in the bedroom next to the bed and one in the living room where we spend most of our day. We looked at the Arms reach co-sleeper, but the sleeping area seemed much smaller than the Graco P&P. I got both used off of Craigslist for ~$20 each.
