Not sure if I qualify to be here

But wanted some advice. Or at least someone to tell me I'm not insane.

I got this today:

My children are currently 3, 2, and 1. When this LO is born they will be 4, very nearly 3 (I'm due on her birthday I think), and 1 (will turn 2 about 8 weeks later).

I am still in shock. Moving this weekend to a new apartment. Not sure what to tell the hubby. Someone come scrape me off the floor?

You can do it! Yours are a bit closer than mine...there's 5 years 9 months between my first and my last.

But the fourth was really a non-event. We already had a routine, things we did, and he just kind of fit in completely. It was like he'd always been there!

And congratulations!!!!!

Not only can you do it, but in a couple years, you'll be glad you did. Mine are close too Mama.
13yodd
(3 year gap)
10yods
8yodd (^i^)
7yodd
5yodd
4yods
2yodd
1yodd
expecting

That means the last eight will have been in ten years.
2005 was a hard year for me. :P But after that it got easier and easier. You might want to look into joining MOMYS as a support system. You can't post yet (you must have four children in less than 7 years to post) but the information you could gleam off the mamas would probably help you out a lot, just in terms of how to function, go out in public, get things done, et cetera.

I dont' know, but I wanna go there too!

I definitely agree that it gets easier with time. I was terrified when I found out I was pg with #4...but as he's gotten older (he's about 15 months now), he plays with #3 (19 months between them) and they entertain each other really well. My girls are 16 months apart and didn't seem nearly as close as the boys do.

My first two are 18 months apart (both girls) and get along great. However DD2 HATES her little brother who is 14 months younger. I'm hoping for a boy to balance it out.

Re: Not sure if I qualify to be here

I have
DD 5
DS 4 (they are 12 months apart)
DD 3 (her and DS are 16 months apart)
DS 18 months (him and DD are 20 months apart)
Due in 6 weeks with #5...baby boy and DS will be around 19 months apart.

You can do it, after 3 adding more kids has been cake! Adding #3 was hardest I think, no more even teams, but once you have 3 kids 4 is no harder and I'm sure 5 won't be any different either. Good luck!
