bumGenious One Size Question

I am planning on making a lot of my stach one size dipes since I have 2 in diapers. I got my bg one size today. I put it on my older dd. She is only 16 months and its already at the largest setting (and not huge at that). Are there one-sizes that come bigger?

I was also wondering... when you snap the insert for a smaller side does the folder over part go in the front or the back.

Thanks! these things should really come with instructions.

I don't know about larger one sized diapers, but as far as where to put the folded part of the insert, I think that depends on your needs (or DC's needs). I put the doubled part of the insert in the front, but that's because my dd sleeps on her tummy and therefore, the middle and front of her diaper are her major wet zones. HTHs

Hey mama, I'm not 100% sure but I think BG is the highest rise OS diaper around. As far as where the fold goes that is mainly personal preference. My 15 month old dd is still on the snap down rise but we like the rise to be just below the belly button. I'm sure someone from cottonbabies.com would be glad to answer questions too they have super customer service

Re: bumGenious One Size Question

I know the fold-over part can go either way, it really doesn't matter. But when you put BGs on a really little one, you'll want to use a smaller insert. When I first started CDing, I thought I would use BGs on my then 2 year old but they were too small. Now they fit just fine!

I use the middle setting on my 28mth old unless its at night when i double stuff then i use the largest setting. And when i snap it (which is only when its set on the middle setting) I put the folded side up and in front. HTH!

With it on the highest rise its already a couple inches below the belly button. I know she has a pretty high rise but it just seems like its not going to fit for long.

I'll have to e-mail cotton babies and see what they say.

Re: bumGenious One Size Question

I was actually told that the Haute Pocket has a slightly higher rise. (but not much) It's at www.mtdiaperstore.com

But just an FYI. My ODD will be 3 in May. She is 3 feet tall and weighs 31 lbs. She fits in a 1.0 BG still. It will help the more active your child is- like running. They'll slim down and it'll fit.
