At what age did you go to toddler bed?

The best thing for a twin bed with rails is the top bunk of bunk beds! We bought just the top bunk with the rails on it at first. We took the railing off a couple of months ago. He is 5. We really would prefer to go straight to this rather than a toddler bed. DD will def go straight to a twin. She is 9 months old and already 30 inches! She will be way too long for a toddler.

I believe Chloe was right around 17 months. It was hard at first but we got her the little Dora toddler bed and she loved that. She is totaly obsessed with Dora so that helped a lot. She still loves her Dora bed.

We converted Jonah's crib to a toddler bed when he was 14 months. He's a climber and was caught trying to escape more than once. He was fine with going into a toddler bed. Never really tried to get up when we put him down to sleep. Well that changed now but he's 3. So that explains it all.

We made the move at 30 months. He was so happy in the crib and never tried to climb out so we figured why break a good thing...

I can see my DD is already trying to climb out of the crib so we've been toddler bed shopping and she's almost 14 months. My DS went right into his toddler bed when he was about 16 months when he decided to do the high jump off the rails So to eliminate any unnecessary broken bones, bruising and waking mommy up ou by sneaking up to her bed I just put him in a toddler bed (and put a gate up at the door ) He was so happy to wake up and get right to playing in the morning anyway
