Kissaluv contours vs. fitteds

I was cruising around the website....... what is the main difference. The contours look like they have less bulk and probably less absorbancy.

??

Thanks

Re: Kissaluv contours vs. fitteds

I have yet to use them so I am going based on in person appearance and word of mouth. I am looking at a fitted and a contour right now and honestly I think the bulk it about the same, just have elastic in the waist and theighs of the fitted. without using a doubler in either I would think they have about the same absorbancy. I have heard that the contours do not hold blowouts at all though.

Ooh, I did not like Kissaluvs contours! They moved around a bunch, and they didn't hold squat in. I'd stick with the fitteds!

Like the others said, the contours don't have elastic so they don't hold anything in. Also, the way the soaker is sewn into the KL contours makes them take FOREVER to dry...very annoying. Honestly, I'd rather use prefolds because at least then you have choices about how to fold them...with the contours you're just stuck.

Re: Kissaluv contours vs. fitteds

I bought 3 KL contours thinking I was buying fitteds and I'm not a huge fan. I'd still use them with pins or whatnot because of the cute colors, but they're not as nice as the fitteds. They're at the bottom of my stash. I think the fitteds are actually MORE bulky than the contours, but thats JMO. They do have a built-in inner liner which is nice, but like someone said, takes awhile to dry.

I bought 5 of the contours since it was the best deal, but it turned out to be the worst deal because I hate them so much. Like others said, they just don't hold in the poo. I was thinking about trying the fitteds too.

I have both and I have to say I like the fitteds much better!! The contours still are loose around the leg and I suck at using a snappi.. LOL

I guess I'm in the minority. Ha. I love my contours. I just started Cd'ing with my toddler, and maybe since she has solid poos, I've never had a problem with them not holding poo in. I think they're better for older ones with solid poos than b/f babies, probably.
