How many wipes?

Now that we have enough dipes to put the girls in cloth atleast half-time (still hunting and gathering... ), the next logical move is to cloth wipes.

My question for all of you wise ladies is, how many wipes do you think we'll need to get through 2 days? FWIW, I have one exclusively BF'd 6 mo old, and a 2 yo who guarantees atleast one, and sometimes two dirty diapers per day.

I'd love to hear your suggestions!

one mama told me she suggested having at least 40 for me to wash everyother day...and that's for one babe. but i haven't cd'ed yet so i dunno.

i only have 1 EBF 5 mo and she goes through about 15 in 2 days.

myajdw - you'll probably need 40 in the begining if your BF they poop a lot.


But now that DD doestn't poop as much I go through about 20 in 2 days and have 10 in the diaper bag

okay i see. and we will be bfing exclusively. but yes it makes sense that you would need more in the begining. i was going to shoot for that 40 just in case anyhow haha.

I have almost 40 now and another 22 coming soon.

I was always told about a dozen per day per kid. So you would need about 4 dozen to get you through 2 days.

Well, right now I have one, LOL, but I have 12 on order from one lady and 15 from another. I wash daily and I am sure that will be way more than enough.
