I got another virus off of here

You do NOT need to get a new computer, no matter what the virus does. My husband works in network security.. so I am going to pass along some information that may be useful.

First -- most virus scanners/protectors (McAffee, etc) are CRAP! Download AntiVir (http://www.free-av.com/) It's a free Anti-Vir that is MUCH better than any other paid program out there. Once you have downloaded it and installed it, uninstall any other program you have. Run the update on this.. and run this program.

Next, do a free scan at FSecure to double check to see if you have any rootkits (very bad). It will also find things other programs cannot. http://support.f-secure.com/enu/home...shc/front.html ** You must use MSIE to run this, unfortunately.

To get rid of nasty viruses: Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.. Install, update, and run this.
