I am just now seeing this, but want to make a post to see if the edit button is still here.

I really hope they do not do away with the edit button. I'd certainly miss it!

Exactly!! Another drama-free person who wants to keep her edit button!! I use the edit button a LOT, and it has never been because I said something that I shouldn't have (e.g. something rude or inflammatory!), but because I saw a mistake I made, or I wanted to come back and update or add more info (e.g. info or a link I had to look up). We're all adults, and I don't see any reason to punish the adults because of some childish individuals.
