Prefold tutorial with pics!! ALL FOLDS

Maybe we can make this a sticky. Ok, a lot of mama's keep requesting to see prefold tutorials on all the different folds. I did every fold I know of with the exception of the side fold for side sleepers. My DD was VERY wiggly today so the folds are not entirely crisp and tight but it's to give you the basic fold so you can follow.

Anyone feel free to add your photos of your favorite folds and tips to help out prefold newbies!

The Newspaper Fold:

Lay your prefold out flat and fold up the front about 1 1/2-2 inches





Fold in the sides and pull up tight between legs





Snappi or pin



Reverse Newspaper Fold:

Lay out prefold under baby and fold sides in.



Pull up tight between legs



Fan out towards the front, pull back wings around tight, snappi or pin





Bikini Twist Fold:

Lay prefold under baby and twist front



Pull up between legs, Fold down rise, snappi or pin (Not a good fold for my short rise DD)





Jelly Roll Fold:

Fold down the back 1 1/2-2 inches



Slightly fold in the sides and roll





Tightly pull up between legs, fold rise down





Snappi/pin



Angel Wing Fold:

Lay prefold out under baby. Fold in sides.





Pull up tightly between legs, fold down rise, snappi/pin





Add a cover and you're all set!



Again, I apologize that the folds are not entirely neat, She was twisting like crazy today! But it should still help.

This is awesome! Thanks so much for sharing this! I use fitteds and covers, but I'm trying hard to find the prefold love because it would be so much less expensive. I will try some of these out on DS
